Banana Cookies

I'm really excited to share a recipe for one of the BEST cookies I have ever tasted. 

And I'm glad Kristyn from Lil Luna invited me to post on Nikki's ah-mazing blog, while she takes a little time off.

BANANA COOKIES:
¾ C. shortening
¾ C. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. vanilla 
2 bananas, mashed
¼ tsp. salt  
2 C. flour

Mix together and drop by teaspoon onto a cookie sheet. Bake @ 375 for 10 minutes.

FROSTING:
4 T. brown sugar
½ tsp. vanilla
4 T. cream or milk
4 T. butter
Powdered Sugar


DIRECTIONS:
Bring brown sugar, milk and butter to a boil in a saucepan. Remove from heat. In a new bowl, add vanilla and powdered sugar to a spreading consistency.
